See what Allsquare does with this certificate of insurance.
It reads every policy, checks it against a builder’s requirements and drafts the follow-up email if anything is wrong.
Sample certificates with fictional companies. They are read by Allsquare’s built-in sample reader and checked by the same rules your account uses. In your account, AI reads your own PDFs, including scans, and a person on your team confirms every field before it’s saved.

How it works
Upload. Check. Chase.
Three steps your team used to spend afternoons on, now handled while you get on with the build.
01
Upload
Drop in a certificate or import your whole subcontractor list. Allsquare reads every policy and fills in the details.
02
Check
Each sub is checked against the requirements of every job they're on: Compliant, Expiring soon, Non-compliant or Missing.
03
Chase
Reminders go out before anything lapses, and gaps get a clear, polite email that tells the sub exactly what to fix.
Straight answers
What Allsquare checks. And what it can’t.
It does
- Reads the insurer, policy number, dates and limits on every line of coverage
- Checks general liability, auto, umbrella and workers' comp against each job's minimums
- Notices when you're not named as additional insured, or a waiver of subrogation is missing
- Tracks every expiration date and emails the sub before coverage lapses
- Keeps the original PDF with every record, for audits and disputes
It doesn’t
- It checks what the certificate of insurance says. A policy can be cancelled after the certificate was issued, so for high-risk work, confirm with the insurer or broker.
- It doesn't read the full policy wording, so it can't see exclusions.
- It doesn't stop anyone walking on site. Your site sign-in and inductions still do that; Allsquare tells you who isn't clear to start.
- It isn't insurance advice. Allsquare isn't an insurer or broker.
Every AI reading is checked by a person on your team before it’s saved. How we handle your data

Questions, answered
What does Allsquare check?
Each policy's limits, effective and expiration dates, and whether you're named as additional insured with a waiver of subrogation, against your company-wide minimums and any stricter requirements on each project.
Does Allsquare guarantee a sub is insured?
No. Allsquare checks what the certificate of insurance shows and tells you which ones need attention. A certificate shows cover on the day it was issued; a policy can be cancelled later, and exclusions sit in the policy wording. For high-risk work, confirm directly with the insurer or broker.
How does the AI work, and can I trust it?
AI reads the certificate and fills in every field, then a person on your team checks it before anything is saved. You see exactly what was read and can correct it, and the original PDF is kept with the record. AI can misread a blurry scan, which is why that check is built in.
Do my subs need an account?
No. They get plain emails, and a secure link to upload their certificate of insurance without an account or password. Only your own team logs in.
Can I bring my existing spreadsheet?
Yes. Import your subcontractor list from a CSV file; every row is checked and any problems are listed by line before anything is created. Founding customers get this done for them.
Where is my data, and who can see it?
Allsquare runs in Sydney. Every company's data is kept separate, files are only shown to signed-in members of your company, and admins control who can see and change what. The security page lists every service we use and what each one sees.
Can I cancel, or take my data with me?
Yes. Plans are month to month, and you can cancel or change plans from your settings at any time. You can export your subcontractor list as a CSV and a compliance report as a PDF whenever you like.
What happens if I go over my plan's limit?
Nothing is deleted. You keep everything you have, and you can add more subcontractors again by upgrading or by removing ones you no longer use.
